Supporting VET teachers’ Continuous Professional Development through e-Portfolio
Centre for Education Policy implements the project Supporting VET teachers’ Continuous Professional Development through e-Portfolio.
The project aims to promote e-Portfolio in VET schools in Serbia. As a first step the beneficiary organisation will develop a web portal dedicated to e-Portfolio containing educational resources for school management and teachers. A series of Train the Trainer (ToT) workshops will be organised for 18 teachers from different VET schools. The programme of the workshops will focus on developing teachers’ skills for the integration of the e-portfolio approach in their professional development and consequently into the students learning process. After the ToT workshops, the 18 teachers will act as trainers themselves training and supporting 2 teachers in their schools.
The project plans as well as the e-Portfolio concept will be presented and discussed at New Technology in Education Conference (NTiEC). This opportunity will be used to discuss with a wider audience, what stands behind the e-Portfolio concept, how it can be used for enhancing 21st century skills and indirectly students’ key competences and the advantages, barriers and impact of using e -Portfolio.
Here you can find the report from Policy Round Table Discussion on systemic integration of ePortfolio approach in VET system at the New Technology in Education Conference (NTiEC).
