ARISE: Empowering Schools to Break Barriers and Build Equitable Learning Environments

The ARISE project aims to tackle educational poverty and promote equity by empowering school leadership teams in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Slovenia. By combining proven approaches to inclusive leadership and advocacy, the project strengthens the capacity of schools to create equitable learning environments, reduce dropout rates, and improve student well-being.

Direct beneficiaries include teachers, principals, and students in schools located in high-poverty areas. Through mentoring, training, and peer-to-peer learning, the project fosters inclusive school cultures and sustainable change.

This initiative builds on the successful ARISE Network, expanding its mission to tackle educational inequalities through inclusive leadership and stronger school cultures.
